Sandboxie can do the trick for you. The only problem is it won't save anything inside the sandbox, but that can be worked around. Run Diablo 2 as normal. Create your character to be rushed and create a TCP/IP game. Run Diablo 2 in the sandbox. Load your rusher and join 127.0.0.1. All progress in the sandbox will be lost!

Probably too late for that now, but just to be sure: Before you do anything more with the game, make a backup of the files you have now. There are saves for 2 stash/character files that look identical but are in 2 separate locations. If I’m remembering right it’s in your extended diablo folder and in the separate “program files”.
it is possible that you have installed plugy in multiple locations. try any plugy.exe file you may find. You may find it in /Mod Plugy subdirectory. 1. captain_charisma14. OP • 4 yr. ago. Only one Plugy.exe on my computer, and it's the one in diablo II/Mod Plugy. And that one is unfortunately not working.
